Nancy Carol Boone, 75, of Phoenix, entered into rest on May 8, 2018. She was born to parents, Edward and Colleen Leverenz on May 6, 1943. She is survived by her husband Dale F. Boone, son Dale R. Boone, daughter Karen Schmaltz, Sister Joyce Caverley, Brothers Robert and Michael Leverenz, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. As her heart was so giving, she volunteered at St. Gregory Catholic Church as the Gift Shop Manager over the past 10 years. During her time there, she built relationships with many parishioners and became a cherished member of the church community. She loved and enjoyed all the dogs she had over her lifetime: Heidi, Sheba, Mandy, Raven, Bear and Gonzo. Gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren were her passions. She was a loving mother and wife who brought great joy to her family. With her lively personality and sense of humor, she brought great mirth to so many lives. We will miss her dearly, knowing that she is in heaven with her granddaughter, Sarah and other family members brings great comfort. She will be greatly missed as we await and look forward to our joyous reunion. Visitation will be on Monday, May 14th, 5:00-7:00 P.M. with praying the Rosary at 6:00 P.M. at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, 3424 N. 18th Ave. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, May 15th at 10:00 A.M. at the Church. Committal at the graveside will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Arizona Humane Society. http://www.azhumane.org/.
