Linda Lauer (nee Federer), age 53, of Elkhart Lake, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday (June 21, 2018) at her home.
She was born on December 30, 1964 in Sheboygan, WI, a daughter of the late John and Ellen (Nickel) Federer and step-daughter of Marge Federer.
Linda attended Kiel High School.
On November 6, 2010 she married Rick Lauer.
She worked at the Village Green and Harvey's Restaurant in Elkhart Lake and most recently at Camp Anokijig for many years.
Linda enjoyed cooking, puzzles, needlepoint, going for walks with her dog, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband: Rick; Children: Amanda (Colin) Deeg, Josh (Missy) Bunge; Grandchildren: Tyler, Logan, Hailey, Brayden, Jakeb, Kaitlynn, Austin and Ethan; Siblings: Tom Federer (special friend: Cheri), Donald (Dinah) Federer; Step-mother: Marge Federer; Step-siblings: David (Sarah) Balde, Denise (Steve) Perry, Sharon Rickert, Fred Balde (Special friend: Mary); Sisters and Brothers-in-law: Lori (Roger) Bruggink, Terry Lauer (special friend: Misty), Tom (Kari) Lauer, Sheila Balde; and Her two pets: Tiger and Popcorn.
She is preceded in death by her parents and step-brother, Richard Balde.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday evening (June 25, 2018) at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Dennis Van Beek will officiate. Cremation will take place following services.
