Mr. Cordell was born September 25, 1955 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a 20 year Trauma RN at Wadley ER and worked with LifeNet as an EMT-I and dispatcher. He was also a proud member of the Heart Transplant Team in Oklahoma City. Most recently, he was a dedicated RN for Serenity Hospice. Dennis was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-eight years, one daughter and son-in-law, one sister and brother-in-law, his mother-in-law, one grandson and his mother, one sister-in-law, one niece, two nephews, and a special friend.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Texarkana Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment will follow the service.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
