Billy F. Hohensee Sr. born April 20, 1938 went to be with the Lord on November 24, 2011 at age 73. He is preceded In death by his grandson Tyler Curtis, father August, mother Mildred. He is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 53 Yrs, Pat. Bill and Pat have 4 sons; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He joined the SAPD in September 1959 and retired December 1995 after 36 yrs. of service. He was a hardworking, principled man, with a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family who loved him dearly. We really don't want to say goodbye but we are eagerly waiting to be with him again. Funeral service was held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Tuesday November 29, 2011 at 10:00 am. Interment followed at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
