A native of Worth County, GA, Mrs. Daniel was born to the late Rufus Jack and Ruby McDonald Davis on October 3, 1938. The family moved to Albany where she grew up and attended school. Mrs. Daniel met her late husband, William Allen Daniel and they married January 9, 1954. They moved to Lee County in 1959 where they raised their family.
Mrs. Daniel was the former owner of Pelham's Grocery and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church where she was a member of the Bereavement Committee and a former choir member. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Foster Davis, Travis Davis, R.J. Davis, Aline Anderson and Hazel Puckett.
The family will receive friends at the social hall of New Hope Baptist Church Tuesday one hour before the service.
