Jimmie Charles Stone, age 84 and a resident of Lewisville, TX, was born on September 20, 1933 in Lewisville, TX to James and Irene Stone. He passed away on June 29, 2018 at his home in Lewisville. Jimmie was a 1952 graduate of Lewisville High School and then served four years in the US Army. He soon married his sweetheart, Patricia McGinty whom he started dating when they were sophomores in high school, on September 19, 1952, and celebrated 65 years of marriage. Jimmie also served as a volunteer in the Lewisville Fire and Rescue Department and served as a volunteer in the Lewisville High School Band Club, serving for 12 years as a Board Officer and working in the concession stand. He volunteered in local FFA Clubs and at the Lewisville Saddle Club Rodeo Event helping with delivering hay and transporting animals. Jimmie retired after 35 years from Sterling Drug Company and then worked for Walker Engineering and retiring at the age of 72 years. His favorite hobby was buying and rebuilding VW autos and then reselling them. Jimmie is survived by his wife Patricia Stone and two daughters; Pauline Emich and her husband Ed, Sandra Stephen and her husband Scott and two sons; David Stone and his wife Dona, and Michael Stone and his wife Selena; his sister; Annette Coonrod; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; Gene and Billy Stone.
