Dorothy M. (Fee) Farrell, 87, of Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton passed away June 16, 2018 at Bridgewater Nursing Home after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Samuel J. Farrell.
Born July 30, 1930 in Waltham, MA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sadie (Ferguson) Fee. Dorothy was raised and educated in the Boston area and had worked as a Bookkeeper in the family business. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was Past Matron of the Brockton Chapter #87, Past Matron of the Braintree Chapter #167 and a member of the Pilgrim Chapter #89. She was also a member of the East Bridgewater United Methodist Church in East Bridgewater.
She is survived by four children Robert C. Farrell and his wife Elaine of Brockton, Linda J. Warnock and her husband Donald of Lakeville, Sandra R. Sherman and her husband George of N. Easton and Mark J. Farrell and his wife Donna of Canaan, NH.; five grandchildren Sean Warnock and his wife Lynne, Todd Warnock and his wife Sarah, Kenneth Sherman and his wife Molly, Amanda Farrell and her husband Roger Kirkpatrick and Joseph Farrell; 3 great-grandchildren Charlie and Grace Sherman and Abigail Warnock; two sisters Ruth Close and her husband Rodgers and Jean McKnight and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Robert Fee.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 2-5 PM with an Eastern Star service at 4:30 PM followed by a funeral service at 5:00 PM in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St, Brockton, MA 02347.
