Emile J. Gerard, 89, of Syracuse, died Wednesday at St. Camillus Health Center. Born in Tupper Lake, he was a retired HVAC contractor. He was a communicant of St. Charles of Borromeo Church, past officer of the Pastimes Club, and was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors: his wife of 63 years, Mary Angelo Gerard; daughters, Sandra (Larry) Force of Liverpool, Linda (David) Tulowiecki of Liverpool, Jane Gerard (Jamal Tajo) of Manlius, Sue (Thomas) Pettitt of Whitney Point; son, Richard (Danielle) Gerard of Canastota; two sisters, Valida Duffy of KY and Geraldine Limoges; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services: Saturday, 11:30 a.m. at the Tindall Funeral Home and 12 p.m. at St. Charles of Borromeo Church. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours Friday 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1921 W. Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Camillus Foundation, 813 Fay Rd., Syracuse, 13219.
