Sterling Anderson, 75, of Lexington, died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital. He was a native of Danville and the brother of .

Born March 16, 1925, in Boyle County, and was the son of the late Clayton and Jenny Davis Anderson. He was a retired employee of Taylor Tire Company and a member of Clays Mill Road Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Sterling Anderson.

Additional survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Frances McCane Anderson; a son, Royce Anderson of Lexington; two daughters, Pamela S. Johnson and Marlene K. Walden, both of Lexington; three sisters, Beatrice Bodner and Bertha Phillips, both of Danville, and Geneva Bunch, of Middletown, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 463 E. Main St., Lexington by the Rev. Jeff Fugate. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Leron H. Johnson Jr., Eric S. Johnson, Michael Sterling Anderson Jr., Donnie S. Walden, Ramsey Lee Walden, Leron H. Johnson Sr. and Loranzia Walden.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Monday.
