Elizabeth Ann Bullock, 96, of Richmond died Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Elizabeth was born on May 2, 1922 in Richmond to Otto R. and Pearl (Wilkenson) Gillaspie. She married Charles Bullock of Richmond, on December 29, 1940; he preceded her in death on Tuesday, February 12, 1985.
Survivors include one son, Shirel and his wife Mary, one daughter, Suzann and her husband Gary, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Elizabeth was preceded in death by one son, Richard Bullock; one daughter, Sharon Kay Bullock in infancy, one brother, J.C. Gillaspie, daughter-in-law, Sandy Bullock and son-in-law, Danny McKown.
Elizabeth was a housewife and homemaker while her husband worked as an inspector at the Ford Motor Company in Claycomo. She was a real home body type person, but, enjoyed going to the lake and her two week vacations with her husband and family when the Ford Plant would shut down.
The Family suggests memorial contributions be made to either Shirkey Hospice or the Henrietta Baptist Church, which can be dropped off or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 E. Main Street, P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lexington Memory Gardens.
