Christina A. Williams, age 86, died on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 1:57 PM at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born on December 24, 1931 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Willard and Rebecca (Patton) Bailey. On August 25, 1947 Christina married Ned L. Williams, they celebrated 56 years together. Ned preceded her in death on April 8, 2003.
Christina was a member of the Maysville United Methodist Church. She taught Sunday school, led Bible studies and was President of the Ladies Missionary Circle. Christina served as the secretary/treasurer for the Sunday school for over thirty years.
She is survived by two sons: David (Kathy) Williams of Hilliard and Dan (Terri) Williams of Harrod; four grandchildren: Amy Wannamacher, Jason Lee, Jennifer (Abe) Babcock and Kenny (Jessika) Williams; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Juanita Bailey of Myakka City, FL; and a niece, Jean Marie (Castle) Morrow of Cincinnati.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Roger Bill Bailey, Willard Bailey and sister, Geraldine Castle.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Thomas Dearth officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada
