Edward O. Barnard of Rogers passed away on June 28, 2018. He was born on September 17, 1938 in Boxley Valley, Ark. to the late Corby and Leota Barnard. Ed was an Army veteran who served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a member of Pea Ridge Free Will Baptist Church. Ed worked in appliance maintenance before beginning a career with Glad Products, where he retired after 25 years. Ed’s survivors include his wife, Alta; children, Tim Barnard and wife Angela of Rogers, Wendy Jones and husband Mike of Rogers; grandchildren, Emily Audlehelm, Corby Shumate, Kaden Barnard, Healing Reyne Barnard, Zadok Barnard; great-grandchildren, Will Audlehelm, Easton Shumate; and brothers, Gene and Reese Barnard. He was preceded in death by his parents; and by siblings, Laveda Simmons, Hazel Murphy, and Ford, Dolan, Junior, and JW Barnard. All are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 1 at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 at Rollins on Sunday. There will be no public viewing. Graveside services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday in Shiloh Cemetery in Newton County, Ark.
