She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Buchanon; mother, Gladys Goree Simpson; and sister, Ann Elizabeth Brown.
Survivors include her daughter, Felicia Blackmon; grandchildren, Phylicia Blackmon and Harold Douglas II; great-grandchild, Brian Harris II; sisters, Alice Carroll, Ellen Johnson, Yvonne Daniels, Linda Slayton, Patricia Robinson, Evelina Bush, Louvina Smith; brothers, Thomas and Reuben Simpson, Darryl Willingham; a host of friends and family.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June25, 2018, 2:00 PM at Miracle Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be held the same day prior to service from 12:00-2:00 PM at the Church.
