Mrs. Shirley Ann Ash Brady, 74, of North Augusta, SC, beloved wife of nearly fifty-eight years to Mr. James P. Brady, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, in the comfort of her home. Born in and a lifelong area resident, she was one of twelve children born to the late Robert William and Pauline Baxter Ash.
For many years, she was a Cashier at the Town and Country Store and was a member of the First Assembly of God, Augusta, GA. Miss Shirley enjoyed traveling and collecting angels. More than anything however, she enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grands.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children and their spouses, Donald William and Carletta Brady of North Augusta, SC, Tina Diane Brady of Graniteville, SC, Brain Lee and Melissa Brady of Appling, GA, the late Ronald Preston Brady and the late Deborah Renee Brady, siblings and their spouses, Joyce and Larry Storey of Hephzibah, GA, Wayne and Brenda Ash of Martinez, GA, Arthur and Angie Ash of Blythe, GA and Wilbur Ash of Atlanta, GA; fourteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, June 28, 2018, from 6 until 8 AM at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC.
