Funeral services for Crystal Leann Jones, age 35 of Shelbyville, will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 in the chapel Doak-Howell Funeral Home. Mrs. Jones passed from this life Sunday, June 17, from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until service time Thursday, at the funeral home.
Born July 14, 1982, in Shelbyville TN, she was the daughter of Jody Turner Jones and is preceded in death by; grandparents, David Wayne & Clara Ruth Pressley.
Crystal was employed at Tyson’s Foods and had previously worked for several years at Richard’s Cafeteria. She enjoyed; hiking, her music turned up loud, was a huge fan of Starbucks Coffee, and her favorite flowers were lilies. She loved animals and her family, friends, and was a caring mother who loved her two daughters very much.
She was very much loved for her nurturing character and provided strength for many.
She is survived by: wife of 3 years, Valerie D. Jones; daughters, Novella and Nevaeh Metcalf both of Shelbyville; sister, Tiffany Register of Shelbyville; nephews, James King, Nikki, David, and Gabe Atwood; and father of her children, Josh Lee Metcalf of Shelbyville.
