Aubrey E. Reynolds, 82 of Woodford, Virginia entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Bowling Green Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born December 1, 1935 to the late Aubrey and Evelyn Reynolds. He joined Bethlehem Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. S.H. Carter.

Aubrey attended Caroline County schools and graduated in 1954 from Union High School. He worked as a chef at the Fredericksburg Country Club for many years. He later began working for a government contractor, Mackey in Quantico, Virginia where he cooked for the military. He retired in 1999 when his health began to fail, however he continued to cater events throughout Caroline and surrounding counties for many years.

Aubrey served on the usher ministry at Bethlehem Baptist Church for thirty plus years and was president for twenty plus years. He was given an appreciation service in 2016. Aubrey also served on Mount Lawn Cemetery committee, as trustee, assisting bereaved families and cooking for the Memorial Day services with his assistant Ward Graves. Aubrey also received the outstanding service award from Mount Lawn Cemetery on July 7, 2016.

Aubrey was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Evelyn Reynolds; sisters, Gladys Reynolds, Dorothy Baker, Ada Allice; brothers, Bernard, Terrell and Frank Reynolds and his god daughter, Janet Johnson.

He leaves to cherish precious memories, a loving and devoted wife of fifty nine years, Gloria B. Reynolds; two sons, Kenneth Reynolds (Licia), Wade Reynolds (Lucy); one daughter Angel Reynolds; grandchildren, Prentiss Twiggs, Kenneth "KK" Reynolds, II, Licia Williams-Hawthorne (Rian) Wade N. Reynolds, Alisha Reynolds, Tasia Reynolds, Kiya Jones and Rufus Davis, Jr; one great grandchild, Lariah Williams-Hawthorne; four sisters, Carry Baker, Helen Reynolds, Mary Graves and Lessie Reynolds; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A very special thank you to Aubrey's caretakers, Robin Winston, Kim Baker, Danny Graves, Maurice Fauntleroy, Lucinda Galimore, Cassandra Howard, MWH Home and Health, Bowling Green Health and Rehabilitation Center and all others who assisted in his care. May God bless each of you.

A viewing will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia with family receiving friends from from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Bethlehelm Baptist Church, 4700 Massaponax Church Road, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22408 with a viewing one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in Mount Lawn Cemetery, Woodford Road, Woodford, Virginia 22580
