Jerry Bob “JB” Sharp passed away June 16, 2018, in Longview, Texas. He was born September 21, 1953, in De Queen, Arkansas to Byron and Maggie Martz Sharp, both from Lockesburg, Arkansas who preceded him in death as well as one sister, Carolyn Elaine Sharp.

J. B. grew up in Lockesburg and in his early adult years moved to Longview where he worked many years as a carpenter alongside his three brothers, Ronnie, Randy, and Dennis. J.B had a love for animals, especially dogs and horses. He especially loved his dogs Rosie and Digger. J.B. loved to spend time with family and camping. He also had an amazing memory and recollection of events and dates. Anyone who knew him was always entertained by his ability of telling jokes and making people laugh.

J.B. is survived by six brothers and one sister and many nieces and nephews. His brothers are Benny Sharp of Tyler, Texas, Sammy Sharp of Lockesburg, Arkansas, Luther Sharp of Morgan City, Louisiana, Ronnie, Randy, and Dennis Sharp of Longview, Texas and sister, Donna Sharp Benedict of Crandall, Texas.

A graveside service will be at Belleville Cemetery, Lockesburg, AR at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 2018, with Vance Stinson officiating.
