Donald M. Stowe, 91, of Milford passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka. He was born September 15, 1926 in Blue Island, the son of George and Mary Krueger Stowe. He married Shirley J. Krause on June 2, 1945 in Steger and she preceded him in death on March 25, 2008. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; one sister; and one daughter, Donna J. Stowe.

Mr. Stowe served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Donald was a member of NRA, and enjoyed woodworking, traveling and using his metal detector.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Milford. Rev. Brent Zastrow will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Milford with military graveside rites by the Watseka American Legion Post #23 and Iroquois County VFW Post #7450.
