Otta passed away on 7 March 1907 at home (corner of Elm & 2nd) in Eureka. She was 31 years, 4 months and 19 days old at the time of death.
Cause of death was an abscess of the liver which lead to "pneumonia fever".
The funeral was held the next day and was officiated by Reverend C. B. Wells. Otta was laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.
