Services for Dorothy Mae Jennings, 82, Tonganoxie, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Barnett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Perry.

Mrs. Jennings died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999, at the Tonganoxie Nursing Center.

She was born Oct. 12, 1917, in Meriden, the daughter of Ray and Ollie Nellie Jane (Cunning) Brooks.

Mrs. Jennings had worked as a waitress in Bonner Springs and Tonganoxie.

She married Edward H. Jennings on May 24, 1938, in Oskaloosa. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Donald Beers, Quenemo, and Billie Dean Jennings, Bonner Springs; a daughter, Bonnie J. Hein, Basehor; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
