Curt passed on August 16, 2017 following a valiant fight with heart disease. He was preceded by his mother Lucy (Furman) Reed and father Charles Reed. His surviving family includes his wife Shirley (Arnold) Reed; sons Charles Dean (Heather) Reed, Curtis Devon (Jaime) Reed; and 3 grandsons Alex, Aaron, Brendyn and one on the way. Curt drove a truck for Emery World Wide and Purolator. He has also held a number of various jobs. He was a great loving father and a crazy wild and caring husband. Curt appreciated all the support we have been given, help from neighbors, calls from friends, his sister and brother in law, Pastor Chuck, strength from his mother in law, Great Lakes Caring Hospice, and tons of prayers. A memorial service will be held August 21, 2017 at 4 p.m., Carson City United Methodist Church, 119 East Elm St., Carson City, MI 48811 with visitation at 3:30 p.m. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Chapel.
