Johnny Roberts, 70, of Laurel Branch, WV, passed away on Tuesday June 26, 2018 at his home. He attended the Advent Christian Church of Clear Fork, a 1968 graduate of Baileysville High School and a member the UMWA. He dearly loved his wife, daughters, grandsons and son-in-law.

He was born on April 3, 1948 in Laurel Branch, WV a son of the late Troy Roberts (1905-1978) and Nannie Belle Neace-Roberts (1911-1988). In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four sisters, Sarah Roberts-Cook (Deceased), Margaret Roberts-Brooks (1936-Deceased), Mary Elizabeth "Granny" Roberts-Toler (1943-2011), and Rosalie Roberts-Toler (1946-2017); and three brothers, Sim Roberts (1932-1982), Shelby Gene Roberts (1938-2008), and Freeman D. Roberts (1941-2013).

Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years Gloria Mullins-Roberts; two daughters, Nancy Roberts of the home and Beverly Roberts-Aliff & husband Eddie Bee Aliff, Jr. of Laurel Branch; two grandsons, Thomas Aliff and Andrew Aliff all of Laurel Branch; two sisters, Sheba Roberts-Brooks (B. 1930) of Glen Rogers and Serena Belle Roberts-Graham (1923-2019) of Pineville; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday June 30, 2018 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with his son-in-law Rev. Eddie Bee Aliff, Jr. and Bro. Darrell Lester officiating. He will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV.
