He married his wife, Erma Sue Parrish, October 23, 1975 and moved to Houston, Texas shortly after. Eddie had a long and successful career as a millwright and later a hydraulic mechanic. After retirement he enjoyed working on classic cars and was an avid fisherman. Eddie was a member of Magnolia's First Baptist Church and a Lifetime Member of the Plantersville Masonic Lodge. The last few years he split his time between their home in Texas and their lake house in Hollister, Missouri. Eddie was a loving husband, father, and Papa.
Survivors include his wife Erma Sue; daughter, Amy Albert and husband Terre; three grandchildren Taylr, Mallorie, and Jonathon; brothers Joe Parrish and Aaron Parrish; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Eddie was proceeded in death by his mother, Verna (Cordova) Parrish and siblings Shirley Cox, Gwen Stephens, and Allen Parrish.
Eddie was laid to rest in the Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Magnolia, Texas on June 30, 2018 following a service officiated by Dr. Ed Seay and Rev. Travis Lee.
