LAY, BARBARA J., 77, of Okolona, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at her home.
She was a member of Highview Baptist Church and Meadow Hill Baptist Church.
Ms. Lay was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lay; and brother, Jimmy Collins.
Survivors include her son, Garry L. Lay; daughters, Belinda Singleton (Terry) and Gwendolyn Embry (Scottie); brother, Floyd Collins Jr.; sisters, Thelma Beene and Betty Graham; sister-in-law, Judy Collins; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Her service will be noon Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Entombment Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
