Sandra G. Beck, age 77, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, at Rea Funeral Chapel in Sedalia, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Crossroads Hospice in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Survivors include four children, Katherine Riekhof and her husband Gregory of Vidalia, GA., Kenneth Beck and his wife Susan of Butte, MT, Thomas Beck of Sedalia, and Cameron Beck and his wife Sherrie of Warrensburg; fourteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Dean Jett and his wife Carolyn of Green Ridge; a sister, Myrel Despot of Christiana, TN; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and a dear friend, Alice Morrison, of Sedalia.

In addition to her husband Glenn, Sandra was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Linda Jett.

Sandra G. Beck, 77, of Sedalia passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Warrensburg Manor Care Center. She was born on June 15, 1941, in Pettis County, MO, a daughter of Edwin Harley and Mary Otta (Kindle) Jett, who preceded her in death.

On February 28, 1959, in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Glenn E. Beck, who preceded her in death on March 5, 2013.

Sandra was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Sedalia. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose, College of Regents, Lodge #1494 in Sedalia, where she served in multiple roles including Senior Regent. She was a member of the American Legion Post #642 Women's Auxiliary and Sedalia Women's Garden Club. She was a former member of the Sedalia Elks Lodge #125 where she was awarded "Citizen of the Year" in 2006. She also served as a Boy Scout leader, Girl Scout leader, Sedalia Khoury League softball coach, and volunteered with Meals on Wheels. Sandra worked for multiple businesses in Sedalia and was most notably known as the "Avon Lady." She loved family and spending time with anyone she considered a member of her family. She enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, bowling, gardening, going to and watching the races, and most recently discovered a hidden passion for coloring.
