Carla G. Williams, age 95, 4502 E. Willet St., Gilbert, AZ died at her home on Saturday, June 23, 2018 after an illness.

Born in Fishingcreek Township, Columbia County, PA on May 13, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Gustav H. and Gertrude C. (Teel) Dippe’.

She was a 1941 graduate of Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre and a December, 1943 graduate of the former Wyoming Valley Homeopathic Hospital as a registered X-ray Technician.

Carla was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Kingston.

She was preceded in death by a son, David John Williams, in 1961 and by two sisters: Catherine Teel Dippe’ Hampel and Jean Louise Dippe’ Walters.

Carla is survived by a daughter, Susan Carla Williams, wife of Steven L. Whitfield, with whom she last resided; a son, William John Williams, Jr., Celina, Texas; five grandchildren: David John Whitfield; Michael John Williams; Laura Michelle, wife of Robert Ficken; Nicholas Andrew Williams; Ashleigh Nicole Williams; four great-grandchildren: Micah, Caleb, Josiah and Chloe Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a. m. in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 813 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston with her pastor, Rev. Paul Metzloff officiating. Interment in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg.
