She was born in Ft. Collins on April 11, 1929 to George and Mildred Wichman. She was raised at Horse Creek Community and JHD Division of the Warren Livestock Ranch. After graduating from Central High School, she was employed at Stock Growers National Bank.
On March 25, 1952 she married Rex Frye. They lived in Reno, Nevada; Lusk, WY, and moved to Cheyenne in 1963. During those years she was a homemaker.
She had a heart for children and spent years as a caregiver for family and those she embraced as family. The coffee pot was always on and the door was always open.
She was preceded in death by her parents. At her request a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
