Pinkie Marie Robinson, 97, of Richlands, VA, formerly of Raysal, WV; died Saturday, Aug 15, 2020, at Richfield Community Living, Salem, VA.
She was born on March 12, 1923, in Lex, WV to the late Moses Blankenshp (1901-1943) & Bertha Mae Payne-Blankenship (1904-1999). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence W. "Shorty" Robinson (1918-1992); four children, Carl Wilson Robinson (1942-1942), Anna Sue Robinson (Deceased), Freddy "Ricky" Robinson (Deceased), and Brenda Joyce Robinson (1947-1947); and several brothers and sisters.
Pinkie Marie is survived by her son, David Robinson; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Blankenship-Holland & Mary Blankenship-Vance; and one brother, George "Bobby" Blankenship (B. 1940).
Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Singleton Funeral Service, Cedar Bluff, VA. On Wednesday, Aug 19, 2020, visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am; and service at 12:00 pm, followed by burial at Tom Sparks cemetery. In accordance with COVID-19 restrictions, face coverings and social distancing is required. Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff, VA is serving the Robinson Family.
