SEPTEMBER 12, 1927 ~ JUNE 21, 2018 (AGE 90)

Ray Earl Arnold, age 90, of Edgewater, died Thursday, June 21 at Florida Hospital New Smyrna. Born in St. Agnes De Dundee, Quebec, Canada, Mr. Arnold came to this area in 1990 from Santa Fe, Texas.

A retired aerospace engineer, he was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of the American Legion, Elks, and the Masonic Order.

Survivors include a stepson, Victor Nardacci of Westfield, Massachusetts, and two stepdaughters, Rena (Myrl) Clark of Edgewater, and Tina (David) Brown, also of Westfield. He was preceded in death by brothers, Harold and James Arnold; and sisters, Jean Chambers and Margaret Cole; and his wife Helen Aldus Arnold.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Settle-Wilder Chapel, with the Reverend Laura Berg, Coronado Community United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Tuesday.
