Paul Eugene Calvert, 88, beloved father, was called to his eternal resting place on March 2. He was born on February 6, 1930 in Monroe City, to the late John and Irene Calvert.

Paul served in the U.S. Air Force; a graduate of Pan American College; a deacon in the Presbyterian Church; and longtime employee of NCR and Houston ISD. He retired to the Briarcliff, TX community and enjoyed all that the Hill Country of Texas had to offer. He was a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and a founding member of the Facility Services Committee.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Pauline Lilly; his son, Keith Calvert; his daughter, Kathryn Calvert Sanchez; his grandson, Ethan Calvert and nephew Jerry Botkins.

He is survived by his sons Kevin Paul Calvert and wife Emily, and Louis Marion Calvert of Houston, TX; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two nieces; two nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30,2018 at the Andrew Chapel Cemetery, Warren, Missouri. There will be a dinner served at the Monroe City First Baptist Church following the services.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul's memory may be directed to Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo or an organization of your choice.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Garner Funeral Home and Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri.
