Elton H. Smith, 86, of Mowbray Mountain, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018.
He was a member of Mowbray Baptist Church and the Mowbray Volunteer Fire Department. Elton served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force, retiring from the U.S. Air Force.
Graveside services will be on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Mowbray Volunteer Fire Department or Avalon Hospice.
Arrangements are by Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
