She was born August 27, 1924, in Richardton, North Dakota, to the late Vincent and Monica (Berger) Hauck. Lena was a homemaker most of her life and retired from Therm-O-Disc. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Yuma, Arizona, and Resurrection Parish in Lexington, Ohio.
Lena was a very special, loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life centered around her family, faith, and friends.
She is survived by four daughters, Janet Malik of Yuma, AZ, Joyce (Bob) Morton of Ontario, OH, Rita Outcalt of Ontario, OH, and Beth (Randy) Stegall of Mansfield, OH; son, Gerald (Janet) Scharosch of Mansfield; step daughter, Joanne (Bert) Bednar of SC; step son, Alen (Pam) Seiler of MI; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, John Scharosch; second husband, Bill Seiler; two brothers, Mike and Ray Hauck; and four sisters, Bertha Gress, Emma Lantz, Hilaria Greff and Loretta Nauman.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2018, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. A prayer vigil will follow the visitation at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Parish with Father Nelson Beaver officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park, Lexington, Ohio.
