Roy E Ray, 91, of Denton, TX. died Thursday, May 31, 2018.

Graveside services to be held at Trinity Memorial Park at 10 am on June 30, 2018. A short celebration of his life will be observed.

He was born on June 21, 1926 in Big Spring.

He married Yvonne Milam Feb. 18, 1947. Yvonne passed away in November 2006.

He worked for Cosden Refinery, now known as Alon, for over 40 years.

He served during WWII in the Philippines as a Corporal in the Army, driving assault vehicles.

After his time was up in the Army, he settled back in Big Spring, living there until moving out to El Paso, TX. to be with his son and family. In 2010, everyone moved to Denton, TX. where he lived until his death.

He is survived by his son, Grady Ray and his wife Cherie of Corinth, TX. along with his granddaughter, Courtney Ray of Dallas, TX. and grandson Colby Ray and his wife Lindsay of Prosper, TX.
