Sunday, February 19, 2017, Tate McCoy Spillett, 7, and Jessica Lynn Spillett, 6, were granted their angel wings and returned to their heavenly father.

Tate McCoy Spillett was born September 3, 2009 in Ogden, UT to Tate Spillett and Summer Layton. McCoy was famous in the community to say the least! He had an audacious, Tom Sawyer nature that created him a life of many adventures, some of which would get him into some trouble. He was very smart for his age and the wheels were always turning in that little head of his, thinking of his next escapade, whether it be antagonizing his siblings or sneaking off to the store to get a treat. He kept the whole neighborhood on their toes! He was the epitome of a free-spirit, he had no boundaries and had never met a stranger. He had an eternal strength and bravery that was inimitable and an imagination and curiosity that made him unique. People were drawn to his sense of humor and energy.

His Life would seem too short to all, but those who were touched by them understand that the time in which they lived, cannot be measured. Their sweet smiles and beautiful hearts touched everyone that knew them, and the sweet memories will last forever in our hearts.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nyman Funeral Home. Services will be held for McCoy and Jessica, along with their big brother Corbin Hillaker, Friday, February 24, 2017 at the LDS South Stake Center located at 55 East 1st South, Preston, ID. Viewing services 10:00 – 12:30, Memorial Services 1:00 PM, followed by a balloon release.
