Renee J. Bennett, age 57, of Wisconsin Rapids died Wednesday June 20, 2018 at UW Hospital in Madison.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday June 27, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nekoosa. Rev. John Swing will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Renee was born May 31, 1961 in Wisconsin Rapids to Robert and Louise (Smolarek) Bennett. She was employed as a super calendar operator at New Page (Consolidated) Papers for 30 years. Renee interests included gardening, birds, painting and sewing. Her dogs Rose and Buckwheat were a major part of her life.
Renee is survived by her son William (Kindle) Bennett of Wisconsin Rapids; her brother Larry Bennett of Shakopee, MN and his children Rachel Hurney and her children John and Bella, Ryan Bennett and Rob (Allison) Bennett and their son Jacob. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister in law Sandra Bennett.
