DAVID E. WHITE, 83, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Covington Manor in Fort Wayne. Born in Conners ville, Ind., he was the son of the late Richard and Verna White. David worked as a wire drawer with Rea Magnet Wire for 38 years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching IU basketball, Colts, and attending Tin Caps baseball, where he was honored by throwing out the first pitch of the game. David and his wife enjoyed entertaining and hosting card parties. Surviving are his children, Daniel F. White of Fort Wayne and Deb McCulloch of Fremont, Ind.; grandchildren, Danielle Sevrence of Fort Wayne, Brandi (Aaron) Brockman of Fort Wayne, Cory (Nyree) Brockman of Huntington, Calif., Allison White of Los Angeles, Calif., and Drake White of Fort Wayne; great-grandchild, Rhyker Brockman; and sisters, Marge (Fred) Fox of Connersville, Ind., and Kay (Bill) Smith of Fairfax, Iowa. David was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia J. White; and daughter, Alice Brockman. Service is 6 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior. Private burial at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
