Benjamin K. Mitchell, 78, of Syracuse, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Born in Macomb, NY, he was a son of the late Clyde and Anna May (Flight) Mitchell. Bennie served in the US Army and was a retired Teamsters' member who drove cement mixer for Saunders Concrete. Following his retirement, he spent every summer at Black Lake with the love of his life and wife of 27 years, Jalayne Mitchell, who died exactly five weeks prior.
...He was predeceased by two brothers, Vincent and John.
