Bonnie Mae George Stanley, 89, of Saint Jo, Texas passed away on June 23, 2018 in Gainesville, Texas. She was born on March 1, 1929 in Aubrey, Texas to Garland and Ronie (Callahan) Housden.

She married Merle George, December 10, 1945 who preceded her in death September 16, 1987. She is also preceded in death by her mother, father, and sisters, Nora Stone, Betty Winters, Christine Williams and Lavita McCain.

 October 9, 1999 she married Allan Stanley of Saint Jo. She was a loving mother and NaNa of 2 children, 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. She worked in the dry cleaners for over 30 years then enjoyed being a retired housewife. She loved gardening, swinging on the porch watching hummingbirds, dancing, bus tours, taking long drives and spending time with family. NaNa was the core of our family. She will be missed by all who loved her.

Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM, interment will follow at Blew Cemetery in Aubrey, Texas.
