Buster was a U.S. Army and U.S. Navy veteran, retired as a tool and dye machinist with RCA and was a 20 years volunteer firefighter with the Malabar Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Estes French; daughter, Cherie (Douglas) Hall and grandchildren, Jonah Hall and Morgan Hall.
