Julia Theora (Foster) Wallis was born on June 12, 1867 in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of Dr Robert Coleman "R C" Foster IV (1824-1879) and Julia Hannah (Woods) Foster (1832-1890). Her parents were married on December 23, 1851 in Davidson County.
She was married about 1899 to John Park Wallis (1866-1932), the son of James D Wallis (1830-1904) and Frances Elizabeth "Fannie" (Park) Wallis (1842-1894). James, who was a physician and a widower in the 1900 census, was living in Davidson County.
Living in Madison, Julia was 77 years old and a widow when she died of a cerebral thrombosis on October 13, 1944 at Resthaven {clinic or convalescent home?} in Nashville. Burial was the next day in Mount Hope Cemetery in Franklin.
Much of the above is from her Death Certificate, with Mrs Carl Armistead {ie her sister Martha Jane (Foster) Armistead} of Madison as the informant.
