DONALD EUGENE HAGER, 72, of Huntington, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 at Riversbend Health Care, South Point, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Eddie Gandy on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Crosspoint Community Church. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Donald was born on January 11, 1946 in Williamson, W.Va., to the late Travis and Francis Smith Hager. He was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service and a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Hager; two brothers, Dennis and Chuck Hager; and a sister, Patsy Hager. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Hager; a daughter, Kimberly Hager of Fredericksburg, Va.; a son, Jason (Monica) Hager of Hurricane, W.Va.; three step-children, Jessica Arthur, Johnathan Long, Joshua (Stephanie) Long all of Huntington; eight grandchildren, Madeline, Marlee and Meghan Hager of Hurricane, W.Va., Mason Eagle of Huntington, Jonah Stump, Alex, Zachary, and Hannah Long all of Huntington; two brothers, Travis “Tom” (Jan) Hager of Ocala, Fla., and James “Jim” (Pam) Hager of Sissonvile, W.Va.
