Haynesville, Jan. 30 (Special)—Hardy Willis Tanner, 84, retired farmer and carpenter of Haynesville, died at noon today after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon in the Haynesville Methodist church with the pastor, the Rev. W. D. Milton, assisted by the Rev. L. F. Gill, officiating. Burial will be held in the Shady Grove cemetery under the direction of Norton Funeral home of Haynesville.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. J. P. Foster, of Haynesville; three sons, H. D., of Crane, Texas, A. W., of Winnsboro, Texas, and W. G., of Ferriday; one sister, Mrs. J. V. Davidson, of Haynesville; one brother, H. H. Tanner of El Dorado, Ark.; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
