Alicia A. (Bardsley) Coogan, 83, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018.

She was born Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Kelly) Bardsley.

Mrs. Coogan was an administrator for the charitable gaming division of the R.I. State Police before retiring in 2003. She has been a Smithfield resident since 1960 and a communicant of St. Philip Church, Greenville. She was a founding member and Past President of the Ladies Guild of St. Philip Church and a very active member of the John Fogarty Center.

She was the mother of Peter Coogan of North Kingstown and the late David Coogan. She was the sister of Mary C. Zurowski of North Attleboro, Anne E. Dooley of Lincoln and the late Matthew Bardsley and Joseph Bardsley, Jr. She was the grandmother of Taylor and Corey Coogan.

Her funeral will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 at 8:30am from the Tucker-Quinn Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave., Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Ave., Greenville. Burial will be in Friends Quaker Cemetery, Lincoln.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Ave., Greenville, RI 02828 will be appreciated.
