96-year-old, Velva Jean Eiler of Louisburg, North Carolina formerly of Pana, Illinois died Monday, June, 18, 2018 at 5:30 AM at Louisburg Manor. Graveside Services will be 4:00 PM on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in Twin Pines Cemetery, Pana Township, Illinois with Rev. Ronnie Brown, officiating.
Velva Eiler was born Saturday, February 11, 1922 in Shelby County, Illinois the daughter of William Clinton and Mary Elizabeth (Black) Brown. She married John Eiler on November 24, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri. Velva was a homemaker during her life and a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church.
Velva Eiler is survived by son: Roger Eiler (Elizabeth) of Louisburg, North Carolina; grandsons: Bryan and Bradley Eiler, both of Tallahasee, Florida; granddaughter: Bethany Hunt of Tallahasee, Florida; eleven (11) great-grandchildren; and three (3) great-great-grandchildren. Velva is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Laverne Denton, two nieces, and one great-granddaughter, Emily Janelle Hunt.

Kennedy and Sons of Pana assisted the family with the cremation service on July 19, 2018. Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services of Louisburg, NC did the cremation.
