Leigh Sprague Grant, 88, formerly of Eau Claire and Eleva, died Monday at Masonic Health Care, Dousman.
He was born Sept. 11, 1902, in the town of Albion, Trempealeau County. He married Linda Kohnke of Elk Mound on November 2, 1927, at Milwaukee. They moved to Eleva, farmed for a number of years, and later moved to Eau Claire, where Leigh was employed with Bohl & Proulx Co. until he retired in 1970.
Survivors include his sister, Agnes Tollefson of Eau Claire; a brother Glenn Grant of Madison; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; and a daughter, Audrey Butler.
