Juanita Evelyn Dickson, daughter of Eli and Dorothy Owens Cook, was born May 19, 1940 in Seymour, Missouri and departed this life on June 6, 2018 in her home near Seymour, Missouri at the age of seventy-eight years, and seventeen days.
On May 8, 1959, she was united in marriage to Jack Dickson and to this union one daughter was born.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ernest Cook and sister, Helen Poyner.
Juanita is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Jack, of the home; daughter, Mitzi Dickson, Seymour; brother, Gene Cook and wife, Belenda, of Seymour; two sisters, Elaine Helms and Yvonne Harwood both of Seymour; several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
She was born, raised and lived her entire life in the Seymour area. She graduated from Seymour High School in the Class of 1958 and worked as a bookkeeper for Brooks Gas Company for 33 years, retiring. She attended Harvestime Tabernacle Church until her health failed.
In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.
Juanita was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and a caring neighbor and friend. We will miss her dearly, but she has fought the good fight through many illnesses and we are comforted knowing her battles are over.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gentry Cemetery and left at the funeral home.
