Vernon was born to Helen and Blain Woods at Rosalin Wash. He was the last of 5 boys born to the couple.
Vern served in the US Navy and while his ship was in the Philipines he was injuired in a freek swimming accident. He was paralized from the neck down, He married wife Judy and live in Ca and Washington, after his divorce he moved to Sweet Home Oregon, His eldest brother Gene became his care giver, We are all for ever thankful to Gene and all the wonderful loveing care he gave to our baby brother we were able to injoy him for many more years,
Vern died at the VA hospitial in Seattle while there on a routine vist.
He was cremated and his ashes were intered with his mother when she passeed way in 2003.He was preceded in death by brother Robert.we love them all and miss them, they were taken from us much to soon.
