She loved to read, and her favorite reading was from the Bible. Bonnie loved spending time outdoors enjoying all that nature had to offer. She enjoyed water skiing, trips to the beach, camping, being around water, and all types of sports. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Ed Walters; daughter, Jamie Wilkins (Todd), of Durham; grandsons, Jamison Berthold (fiancé, Emily) and Stephen Wilkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members whom she loved dearly.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday evening at George Brothers Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Testament Baptist Church, 1404 W. Vandalia Rd., Greensboro, NC 27406.
