Mrs. Shirley Temple Oxendine Gore, age76, of Mill Branch Church Rd. Tabor City, NC, died Thursday, June 22, 2018 in her home. Born June 24, 1941 in Robeson County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Donald Oxendine and Lillie Mae Hunt Oxendine.
She is survived by her two sons: Charles Lynn Oxendine of Tabor City, NC, Royce Lenwood "Sam" Gore, Jr. of Tabor City, NC; four brothers: Bruce Oxendine of Lumberton, NC, LB Oxendine of Gastonia, NC, Carl Lee Oxendine of Charlotte, NC, Lynwood Oxendine of Lumberton, NC; one sister: Linda Helms of Monroe, NC; one granddaughter: Tiffany Callihan of Bladenboro, NC; one great grandson: Cole Callihan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Ray Oxendine, Jerry Oxendine, RD Oxendine; and four sisters: Vestie Oxendine, Maebelle Gibson, Lois Tyler, and Brenda Oxendine.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 at 4 PM in the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.
