She loved her family and was a proud grandmother enjoying their visits together and hearing about their lives. She enjoyed camping, four wheeling and getting out seeing all her friends. Myra knit and crocheted many sweaters and afghans through her lifetime. She would sew clothes for her family when times were tough. Some might say she was a “worry-wart” but that was her love shining through; her way of doing things.
She worked many years at the Poultry Plants in Belfast to help raise her children.
She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Clyde Jr. (Manny); her grandson, Adam; and her infant children, Jeffery and Sherry. Surviving is her loving husband of 50 years, Mr. Gerald Stevens Sr.; her children, Dianne Wellman and her friend Frank of Ellenton, FL., Joe Wellman Sr. and his wife Dottie of Frankfort, Susie Maddocks of Searsport and Gerald Stevens Jr. of Searsport; her grandchildren, Joe Jr. and wife Andrea, Missy and her husband Doug Cyr, Stevie, Gordon, Linda and Elizabeth and many great grandchildren.
